Ticketing Policies
Program and cast are subject to change. There are no refunds. For events presented by New York Live Arts, All Access Pass holders may exchange tickets. There are no other exchanges of tickets. You may return your tickets as a Live Arts donation and receive a tax deduction for the price of the tickets. The box office must be notified of donations no later than 24 hours before the performance by calling the box office at 212.924.0077 or emailing boxoffice@newyorklivearts.org. Donations will be acknowledged by mail or email.
Cancellations
Most performances at New York Live Arts occur as scheduled, regardless of the weather. If weather concerns should arise, check with the box office, our website or Facebook page for updates and information. Under special circumstances, tickets for cancelled events may be refunded or exchanged upon notification from the box office. You may also return these tickets as a donation to Live Arts and a receive a tax deduction for the price of the tickets.
Late Seating
Late seating is at the discretion of the performing artists and strictly followed. Contact the box office to find out if a performance has late seating. Performances begin promptly at the scheduled curtain time. Tickets that have not been picked up 5 minutes to curtain may be released to the waitlist.
Children
Due to fire code restrictions every person entering the theater must have a ticketed seat. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian and are asked to be considerate of other patrons.
Waiting List
In the event of a sold-out performance, a waiting list shall be taken beginning at 1pm on the day of the performances. Names may be placed on the list by calling New York Live Arts' Box Office at 212.924.0077. Available seats will be called no more than 15 minutes prior to curtain. Priority will be given to Members and All Access Pass holders.
Group Sales
New York Live Arts offers discounted tickets for groups of ten or more. To plan a group, please contact Box Office Manager, Megan Harrold at 212.691.6500 x236.
All Access Pass
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of a performance by calling the Box Office at 212.924.0077 or emailing boxoffice@newyorklivearts.org. Please be aware that some performances sell out well in advance. Pass holders are not guaranteed seating without advanced reservations, but have priority on the waiting list for sold out shows.
Accessibility
The Bessie Schönberg Theater is wheelchair accessible. Handicapped Accessible seating is located in J101-104, 111-112, A 6, 8 and A 5, 7. Please alert the Box Office when purchasing tickets as well as upon arrival to performance.
Service Charges
New York Live Arts does not charge a fee for ordering tickets, online or through the box office, for its presentations. However, in some instances organizations renting the space from New York Live Arts may charge fees to offset operating costs
