The Costumes of BELL

Have you been wondering who made the GORGEOUS costumes for BELL? Meet Akiko Iwasaki! Check out some of her designs in the photos below. Photos by Ian Douglas.

Akiko lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. Iwasaki began her career as a costumer in 1998 for opera productions and went on to work in the film and theater industries. Iwasaki’s credits for Feature Film Costuming and Assistant to the Designer roles include: Goemon (2009) by Kazuaki Kiriya, Tajomaru (2009) by Hiroyuki Nakano and Thirteen Assassins (2010) by Takashi Miike. She has also designed commercial photo shoots for Shiseido Company and for the Ku Na’uka Theater Company.
