It’s Official: Live Artery goes live on APAPP (the APAP app, that is)
APAPP is a mobile app developed by Contemporary Performance as a guide to and companion for the upcoming APAP|NYC conference. The app, available for free download on iTunes and Google Play, provides listings, maps, calendars and more.
APAPP (v4.5) allows users to:
- Discover information about festivals and venues including Live Artery, Under The Radar, Coil 13, American Realness, Other Forces, Prototype Festival and independent presenters
- See a compete listing of performances and
- Add shows to personal or public calendars
- Like and post attendance of specific performances to Facebook and Twitter (@NewYorkLiveArts)
- See a map of venues, get directions and check-in using Foursquare
- Read updates from Contemporary Performance, Culturebot, Culturebytes and Performance Club
- Listen to streaming podcasts from OK Radio with leading contemporary performance makers and curators
- Watch videos related to performances and festivals
- Follow a Twitter feed aggregate of all the festivals and their related hashtags (#LiveArtery)
- Network with other people attending the festivals though the app’s integrated social network
